Meet the Team
Sarah Howard
Executive Director

Throughout my 15+ year career, I’ve worked in marketing and business development - always with an emphasis on community. Growing up, I’ve had ties to Wisconsin (specifically Kenosha County!) and envisioned permanently moving here and starting a family.
Before Visit Pleasant Prairie celebrated its first year as an organization, I was hired as the Director of Marketing & Communications in 2019. In November of 2022, I was appointed as Executive Director after five months of serving as interim.
I’m passionate about creating and promoting opportunities for people to come together and connect. The possibilities are endless in the Village for residents and visitors alike. #VisitPleasantPrairie to see what our remarkable community has to offer!

In my career, I've worked in marketing, community engagement, and client management across various industries in both the public and private sector. Through these experiences, I've developed a deep passion for the dynamic world of marketing and the rewarding nature of community engagement.
I've lived in a few different places in the country, but I was always drawn back to home — the Midwest. Now, my roots are planted, and I proudly call Wisconsin home for myself and my family. As such, most of my free time is spent enjoying the lakefront and the abundant nature the state has to offer!

I'm excited to be a part of Visit Pleasant Prairie! I excel at hospitality and welcome residents and visitors to explore Pleasant Prairie and all it has to offer. I've been a Kenosha County resident for over 30 years and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! If you have a question, as the Welcome Center Manager, I am here to help.
