Putting People in Touch With Nature!

Pringle Nature Center is a regional resource where people of all ages can experience nature, environmental education, conservation and stewardship and in doing so, be inspired to become responsible stewards of the environment.

The beautiful Bristol Woods County Park contains upland forest, wetland, oak savanna remnants, and prairie habitats to explore. Within the woods are over four miles of trails used for bird and wildlife observation, nature education walks, dog walking, hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

The nature center is staffed by a full-time Naturalist and part-time Environmental Educator, with help from interns and volunteers who are dedicated to making this natural resource available to the public. These volunteers staff the nature center on weekends to keep the building open to the public, as well as coordinate environmental education programs, write grants, and much more.

Pringle Nature Center also hosts a number of events and experiences throughout the year! Visit their website to learn more about upcoming events.
