Pleasant Prairie Restaurants
Everyone knows that Wisconsin is famous for beer, cheese, and sausage, but that’s only part of our story.
As our state continues to bounce back in reopening, Gov. Tony Evers has announced a Statewide Mask Mandate that requires people five years and older to wear masks in indoor or "enclosed" public places. People will not be required to wear a mask if they are participating in a number of activities, including eating. Additional information is available on our resource page. During this time of continued adjustments in social events and travel, we encourage you to remember the many locally-owned businesses throughout our community and to continue supporting them to the best of your ability!
Pleasant Prairie restaurants include local culinary favorites as well as regional and national dining options.
Start your day with sweet or savory breakfast at the Corner Bakery, one of only three locations in the entire state of Wisconsin. Pair a cup of freshly brewed coffee with a bacon and cheddar panini, or go all out on some bananas Foster pancakes. If you’re looking for a healthier option to jump-start your morning, order their delicious oatmeal and fruit.
Take your lunch break at Pleasant Prairie’s family-friendly eateries serving a variety of cuisines. For Chinese food, try locally-owned Asian Taste for noodle and rice dishes made to order. Honada Sushi & Hibachi serves Japanese cuisine — including sashimi and sushi — and puts on a show with the fiery spectacle of hibachi cooking right at your table. For classic American, try Wisconsin’s own Cousins Subs, which serves deli sandwiches, and Milwaukee Burger Company, which tops juicy burgers with real Wisconsin cheeses — and curds!
In the evening, you might consider a sit-down dinner at popular Pleasant Prairie restaurants. Village Supper Club, family-owned and operated since 1927, boasts a fully-stocked bar and regular specials including Saturday night prime rib, lobster, and snow crab. Hungry for some sizzle and spice? Pop into Iguana Wana Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar, an elevated take on Mexican cuisine, plus a breathtaking bar menu with beer, cocktails, and more than 100 tequilas.
Of course, no trip to Wisconsin would be complete without a proper feast of cheese, sausage, and beer. A short drive from Pleasant Prairie, Mars Cheese Castle makes a worthy pilgrimage for dairy-lovers. Designed to look like a medieval keep with parapets and a drawbridge, Mars Cheese Castle has a breathtaking selection of artisanal cheeses. The Brat Stop, where you can find flavorful sausages, sides, and microbrews, is a quick jaunt from the Prairie as well.
If you’re not quite ready to call it a night, you can quench your thirst for drinks and fun at one of Pleasant Prairie’s bars and breweries. In addition to a full menu of delicious pub fare like burgers and fish and chips, Johnny’Z Pour House offers a mouth-watering variety of draft beers. A friendly neighborhood bar, Starlite Club has good times and great brews on tap.
