Meetings in Pleasant Prairie
With vendors and venues to execute every detail for groups small and large, choose Pleasant Prairie for your next gathering.
Are you in charge of planning the next meeting, family reunion, wedding, or other large gatherings? Look no further than Pleasant Prairie, conveniently located in southeastern Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Chicago. Our central location makes us the ideal destination for groups looking to connect and unwind - or get down to business.
The Doubletree by Hilton
For a formal affair, consider the DoubleTree by Hilton, located right off I-94, next to the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets. At this freshly furnished establishment, you and your colleagues will enjoy such amenities as an indoor pool and 24-hour fitness center. Both a conference room and ballroom are on site, with the option of banquet services. Your guests are also sure to approve of the hotel restaurant, The Prairie Grille, as well as free parking and a free area shuttle. Whether you’re planning a conference, class reunion, wedding, or shower, the DoubleTree by Hilton can accommodate the unique needs of your event and keep your hosting duties hassle-free.
The Pleasant Prairie RecPlex
If you’re seeking a more informal locale, don’t overlook the RecPlex, the largest municipal recreation facility in the nation. A source of great pride for Pleasant Prairie, the RecPlex, not only holds diverse athletic tournaments, triathlons, and competitions, it’s also an ideal spot for your next celebration. Rooms are available for rent either beside the Olympic-size swimming pool or the NHL-size ice rinks. Either place can hold up to twenty-five guests, and food packages are available. Organizations that are looking for something larger but a more private gathering space should consider the Lakeview Studio that has floor to ceiling windows overlooking Lake Andrea. For something unexpected, consider renting a volleyball or basketball court by the hour, or even a softball field!
Park Pavillions in Pleasant Prairie
Another flexible meeting space is the Donald H. Wruck Beach Pavilion at Lake Andrea. Located within Prairie Springs Park, this location far surpasses the typical park pavilion. The enclosed area is a constant 70 degrees and even includes a fireplace. The Beach Pavilion comfortably seats 72 guests and has a kitchen available to rent in the off-season. Here you can enjoy the natural world while also keeping your guests happy and comfortable in all seasons.
For a traditional outdoor picnic or barbeque, there are, of course, outdoor pavilions and picnic sites available within Prairie Springs Park. Take advantage of our glorious summers with the Ballfield Pavilion, an open-air shelter with electricity that can accommodate 120 people. Smaller events may call for a campfire picnic site, perfect for roasting marshmallows. Extras such as tent and grill rentals are also available. No matter the size of your group, the parks of Pleasant Prairie are sure to have the space you are looking for.
Whether you are organizing friends, family, co-workers, or clients, we hope you consider the options Pleasant Prairie offers to make your next event a complete success.
