Master Conceptual Plan Moves Forward
On March 28, 2022, the Pleasant Prairie Village Board considered and approved the revised Master Conceptual Plan for the proposed Village Green Center (VGC) mixed-use development of approximately 180 acres of land. The plan includes a combination of high, medium, and low-density residential housing and mixed-use, civic, commercial, and hospitality developments. It consists of a central green space with pedestrian-friendly connections that provides a community gathering space and encourages walkable access to housing, commercial, and event spaces. Milwaukee-based Development Group Tapped
Pleasant Prairie officials have tapped Milwaukee-based F Street Development Group to explore developing a mixed-use project (commercial and residential) as part of the community's proposed downtown, Village Green Center. As part of the agreement, F Street will conduct a market study and work toward a possible execution of a purchase and sale agreement, along with a developer’s agreement, by Dec. 31, 2021.
